![]() ![]() The app is currently in the beta phase, which means some iMessage features will be broken or absent. And this life-altering boon will only be bestowed upon users in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., or the EU bloc. The app only works on the Nothing Phone 2 and not the Nothing Phone 1. Nothing is adopting the Sunbird tech and bundling it as its very own app under the name Nothing Chats. ![]() No more green bubble shame that could get you kicked out of groups for disrupting the harmony or even slim your dating chances. Technically, the Sunbird app can be installed on any Android phone and it features a blue bubble for all iMessage text exchanges involving an Android phone. Instead, Nothing is piggybacking on tech created by New York-based startup Sunbird. This is especially handy if you want to try out your new 5G connection. Access the Map sub-menu, and you’ll be able to see where you can access 5G, LTE, and other connections on different networks. Give the app permission to access your location data more often, and you’ll help contribute to a massive map of data. But the more interesting elements of this app come after you’ve tested. It’s easy to test - just press the button to get going. The quintessential speed tester, and probably the one you’ve used if you’ve ever searched for a speed test online, Speedtest by Ookla also has a solid app. ![]()
